Wait for the cat mage to come back and then talk to him to finish the quest. Head back to the first save stone for a scene and then grab the furballs here. Once they are dead talk to the dog that appears, then grab the furballs. If all else fails you can switch to the Dog and use a ranged weapon, though it will take longer to kill them. The bats by them are quite strong, you'll want to spam the freeze spell. Head to the tower for a scene, then go to the furballs. Now head back to the first save stone, you'll see a guy with a side quest, take it. Head back to the tower for a short scene. Anyway, blast the "boss" with the staff and it will die in a few hits, then kill the soldiers. Note that ranged weapons cut your health in half (only while equipped) so be careful not to get hit too much. In the weapons/armor tab use to chance between the different types, melee weapons, ranged weapons, armor and helms. You can level Freeze is you like, up to you. You can level up your magic with the big orb. Head west across the bridge for a scene, then enter the lighthouse. I saved all my money for upgrading spells, as spending cash on them is the only way to upgrade them.Įxit and head straight west to the spirit and talk to it, take the quest. If you get an item from a chest you already have, it goes up a few levels, so a lot of your stuff will be upgraded without you even having to spend gold. After the short scene you can upgrade armor with gold, this will increase whatever stat/s it has. Return to Kit Cat and then exit, and return to her house, where the spirit was. Now go north, grab the chest and kill the enemies and take the ore. Then grab the chest in the alcove and go west at the fork, and get the ores. Lead the.tomb thing to the spikes and trick it into killing itself (this will become a common mechanic for this monster, sadly). The spike traps do not activate immediately like the ones in the first dungeon, they activate after you walk over them, then go back down. She sends you into the dungeon to find some ores for her. A white trail also appeared, follow it to a bush for a short scene, then enter the cave east of you, Seaside Cove. You'll see a book just to the east, this will let you cancel the quest if you're getting stomped or something I guess, you shouldn't need to use it. There is an ! over his head with a crown on it, which means he has a quest for you, talk to him and accept it. Your next objective is northeast to the spirit. As a general rule I would fight all the enemies you see, that should keep you even with the level of the story quests, potentially even above it. You just approach enemies and start smacking them, there is no battle screen. This is the world map, you walk across it in real time, and there are no instances. Soak up that juicy 1.00 ratio on that 100 GS achievement. Once the conversation ends you'll finish the quest, and get your first achievement. Go north and then follow the spirit thing that has been talking to you into the teleporter. Go north for a conversation, then enter the tower. Outside you'll see a stone with a blue heart, you can use it to save and heal, you can find them in most towns. The light always signifies an exit from the dungeon. You can open these like chests, they give gold. Further on you'll find 2 more enemies, and then 2 boxes past them. Keep going and you'll find an enemy you can lure into the spike trap. As I said on page 2, combat is basically spamming Freeze (freezepaw) as much as you can while clubbing enemies with your melee weapon. Flamepurr hits a relatively small AoE around you that does damage over time, and Freezepaw hits enemies above and below you. You'll learn 2 spells, Flamepurr and Freezepaw, which will automatically be equipped on the Cat and Dog respectively. Go north and kill the enemy, then interact with the stone. You'll see a circle appear around the enemy which signifies it is about to attack, roll away and then start whacking it again when the attack is over. Just past it is an enemy, use to attack and to roll. On the equip screen press to switch to it, and then equip it like you would normally. You'll reach a chest, open it and you can equip the armor you get on your second character. Follow the path grabbing the blue orbs (they give experience). Press and then press to go to the armor/weapon tab. When you get close to it you'll see a little pop-up that tells you what level it is. After the intro scenes head forward and enter the cave by going next to it and pressing.
